Ansel Adams

 This photograph was taken by a photographer named Ansel Adams. I really like this picture that Ansel took. Of course it's in black in white because color cameras werent created yet. Even though it's in black and white it gives it a good effect. You can see that the sunlight rays in the picture and the clouds look amazing it looks like if the picture was 3D. Good timing Ansel. Even though you might think that rocks are non important or what ever. He made the rocks look like if the rocks were important. I also like how there is mountins in the picture.

Landscape

 To me this is a really good picture, I like it how the photographer hot basically the whole entire image. Not only that I like this picture because the colors in the picture go together. There's purple flowers and the sky has that purple haze to it. The sky looks amazing in that picture. Not only that I like how the picture was taken by a lake and the depth of the picture is good, there's like trees and mountains framing the lake and the sky. The photographer got a really good angle in the picture as well that's why I think this is a really good picture.

Weegee by Weegee

Weegee is a really interesting photographer. He wasn't like any other photographer he was really unique. Weegee ( Arthur Feling ) is famous to take pictures at a crime scene and sell them to the media. Weegee was basically the first one in the crime scene to take pictures not only that he didn't work for the police or the government. He was just a photographer, we can say that he was really into taking pictures. He built a darkroom in his car. Not only that he had a police radio in his car to listen to crimes that just happened and take shots of the crime.

Harry Callahan

   Even though this is a real simple picture  it has a big meaning to me. Callahan probably wants to leave us thinking about why he took this or what does this picture mean? Well to me it feels like this image can mean anything to you. To me it doesn't have a significant meaning but it does leave me thinking. For example, why is the grass like that? Did a storm just passed by and decide to take a picture. Is this picture taken in a farm or just out in some plains? 

Fireflies

My name is Marc and I'm going to tell you a story about the last time I saw my best friend. As always Jason and I would go to the pond everyday before lunchtime. Jason was my neighbor and I guess you could call him my brother. My mom and his dad had a thing. Daddy didn't know about it , momma would always say " Don't tell daddy Marc, he wouldn't be happy. We all know how he gets when he's angry." As she and Jason's daddy went on with their business. I listened to momma I didn't want anything to happen to her, Daddy wasn't really friendly when he got upset. As I would walk to my room to put on the same shoes that I've been having for the longest time. I always wondered when will I get my second pair of shoes. I hate going to school because a lot of kids make fun of me because I've been having these shoes since 4th grade and I'm already in middle school. Even though all the kids in my class make fun of me because my shoes have a hole were my big toe sticks out and they talk, I call these shoes my lucky shoes. Before I meet Jason I had no friends what so ever. I was always the odd kid out. One day Daddy bought me these shoes and I decided to wear them the next day. That's when Jason walked in my class as the new kid. As always the other kids were mean and would bully him like they did to me. As he sat next to the chair next to me he introduce himself and I did they same. Since then we been really good friends, he was my only friend. Even though he was my best friend I hated walking to his house, his house was really far even though he was considered my "neighbor".

    Like the usual Jason's dad and momma went on with their business and I went over to Jason's house. We walked to the pond that was way further out in the woods. I hate going through the woods, these nasty Mosquitos will always get in me and suck my blood. I didn't worry about it Jason knew how to make the itching stop once we headed back home. Jason was the bravest and I was the kid that was always scared. I miss how Jason use to tell me scary stories and scare me. We use to always catch Fireflies, it was weird because it was during the day but I could understand why they were out it was really dark out in the woods. We decided to go fishing the last day I saw Jason. He had found fishing poles that day and said we could go fishing at the pond. We did, I had fun for the first 10 min. Then I saw that Jason wasn't catching anything and I saw how angry he was. " I'll stop fishing for you te get something Jason." I said. Jason didn't get any happier when I told him that, I started fishing again. Jason saw something swimming towards him and he got excited. The water all of the sudden got muddy, we weren't sure what was happening. I just stared at the water with amazement. Jason got up scared and as he got up something pulled him in the water. Didn't have time to see what had pulled him in, but as soon he was completely in the water the water turned clear. As soon as that happened I got up and ran home and explained what happened to my mom and Jason's dad. Then they said that Jason died 10 years ago. That I never had the chance to meet him. Then who was my best friend? What was really going on? Where my classmates right? They called me crazy all the time.

What is shutter speed?

Shutter Speed is one of the three pillars of photography, the other two being ISO and Aperture. Shutter speed is the length of the time that lets light to go in. The faster the shutter speed the faster you would take the picture. For example, if you are at a game or you want to capture something that is in movement you want to set your camera to a faster shutter speed. You would want to use a faster shutter speed because it would freeze the image. If you slow down the shutter speed you would basically would use it to create an effect and its called motion blur. Motion blur is when the subject of the picture moves and the camera takes the picture and there is a blur along the direction of the movement.

Depth Of Field.

This picture is an example of Depth of Field because as you can see in the picture the butterfly is in focus and also the flower but then when you see the background is all blurry. When the background is blurry it is an effect for you can pay attention to the butterfly in the flower.

Waterfalls

You all may not know that I really like waterfalls. The reason why I like waterfalls because they are so beautiful. Mother nature did really good creating this piece. Who ever took this picture did a really good job as well. The angle that photographer took this picture is perfect the lightning is right in my opinion.
